Summary: Secure Clean is built privacy-first. All scanning runs entirely on your device — we never upload, read, or sell your files or personal data. This policy explains in full what we handle and why.
1. Who we are
AKOLLEKT LTD ("we", "our", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Queens House, 180 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 7PD, United Kingdom. We operate the iOS application Secure Clean: Cleanup App and the website secure-clean-cleanup.com.

2. Information we collect
In the app — processed on-device only, never transmitted:
- File metadata (names, sizes, modification dates) to detect junk and duplicates. File contents are never read.
- Photo library metadata (resolution, date, size) to identify duplicates. Photo content is never accessed or uploaded.
- Device storage statistics (used/free space) to display the storage overview.
- Installed app list and declared permissions to power the App Audit feature.
- Local Wi-Fi network name and signal type to assess connection security. No traffic is monitored or logged.
None of the above ever leaves your device.
On the website — when purchasing Premium:
- Email address — to deliver your promo code and billing receipts.
- Payment data — processed directly and exclusively by Stripe. We never store card details.
- Purchase record — order ID, plan type, date — for billing support and subscription management.
3. How we use your information
- To perform on-device cleaning, scanning, and optimization — all processing is local.
- To deliver your Premium promo code by email after a successful purchase.
- To manage your subscription and respond to billing or support inquiries.
- To comply with legal obligations under GDPR, CCPA, and applicable UK law.
We do not use your information for advertising, behavioural profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — payment processor for Premium purchases (PCI-DSS Level 1). Policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Email delivery provider — solely to send promo codes and transaction receipts. No marketing without explicit consent.
No analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries are embedded in the app.
5. App permissions explained
- Photo Library: Read-only metadata for duplicate detection. Content is never accessed or uploaded.
- Notifications: Optional — alerts for storage warnings and risks. Disable anytime in iPhone Settings → Notifications.
- Local Network: Checks Wi-Fi security only. No traffic is monitored or transmitted.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): Optional aggregate analytics only. Declining has zero effect on app functionality.
6. Data retention
All app data stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Purchase records (email, order ID) are retained for up to 3 years for billing and legal compliance, then permanently deleted.
7. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data).

8. Children's privacy
Secure Clean is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact privacy@secure-clean-cleanup.com immediately.
9. Security
Website traffic is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. App processing is fully on-device with no network transmission of personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers.
